Triumphal return for the Wild Lands! On the 14th and 15th of November, from 10 am to 6 pm local time, the Global Event transforms Pokémon GO into a terrain of XXL adventures.

Don’t miss this weekend: new creatures, unprecedented research, XP bonuses… everything is designed to shake up Niantic’s mobile game.

Pokémon GO: Wild Lands 2026, dates to save 📅

The global escapade arrives on the 14th-15th of November, open to every Trainer who has bought their ticket in the in-game shop.

Beforehand, Sendai and Mexico will host a triple-day in-person event from the 6th to the 8th of November; a way to heat up the atmosphere before the global finale.

Niantic promises live connections across the three time zones: succeeding in a challenge in Sendai could unlock an instant bonus for a player hunting in Lyon or Montreal.

A first since the GO Fest 2024! Veterans are already dreaming of double XP and eight-hour Lure Modules.

What new surprises in the Wild Area? ✨

The poster teases Angoliath, a Fairy/Dark type, never seen in the app. Its wild form should appear in parks and near water points.

There’s also talk of a return of Dialga and Palkia in raids with boosted temporal attacks; perfect for those who missed the 2023 versions.

A Special Research scenario will guide the capture: six stages, including an Excellent curve throw under Windy weather. Not easy, but that’s what adds the spice.

Finally, a Dynamic Weather system similar to Scarlet/Violet would vary spawns every 30 minutes, keeping eyes glued to the radar.

Optimize your adventure during the Event 🕹️

Before the 14th, clear 300 spaces in your bag, stock up on Ultra Balls, and craft your Radar Modules: spawn points will explode.

Also, think about grouping your Eggs: placing three Super Incubators exactly at 9:59 am allows you to break the counter at the starting pistol, a little old-timer tip.

Auto-catchers, discreet but effective allies ⚙️

The MEGACOM DuoMon 3 catches at 20 m, manages two accounts, and recharges wirelessly. Ideal for farming while having coffee.

The Brook Pocket Auto Catch Light, lighter, lasts all day; convenient when hunting Dialga in a loop and when you’re not 12 anymore to run everywhere.

Be careful though: in dense urban areas, Bluetooth can saturate quickly. It’s better to restart the app every two hours to avoid freezing – a lesson learned during the Community Day Togetic.

And yes, blowing on a Megadrive cartridge didn’t fix everything… but restarting Pokémon GO often resolves 80% of issues.

A hit of nostalgia and a look to the future 🎉

This return of the Wild Lands recalls the Game Link Cable evenings when we exchanged a Jigglypuff for an Abra, dim light in the room.

Twenty years later, the magic is still alive, but on a global scale. The screen fits in a pocket, the hype lasts the whole weekend.

A meet-up with friends, external battery charged, and comfortable shoes. The rest will involve captures, encounters, and maybe that famous 100% Angoliath that everyone will covet.

After all, an Event is only successful if you come back with stars in your eyes… and a few Pokémon whose story you’ll share during long winter evenings.
